Morrill County Warrant RecordsMorrill County Warrant Records

This is a private reference site, not a government counter. Official warrant questions belong with the Morrill County Court, District Court, or Sheriff’s Office. The right office depends on the case. Use the contacts below, verify hours before traveling, and do not use a number supplied by a threatening caller. The county Sheriff publishes a mailing address rather than a confirmed public warrant counter address, so call before appearing.

This Is Not a Government Office

Morrill County Warrant Records is privately operated. It cannot confirm a warrant, recall or clear court process, accept money, post bond, arrange a surrender, or provide legal advice. An official answer must come from the court that issued the process or the appropriate law-enforcement office.

Use the county or Nebraska Judicial Branch contact below. Do not send personal information or payment to this site because a caller says a warrant is urgent.

Morrill County Court

County Court is the first official route for traffic, municipal-ordinance, misdemeanor, and preliminary-felony matters. Clerk Magistrate Jenifer Gompert is listed by the county and Nebraska Judicial Branch. The court’s published mailing address is P.O. Box 418, Bridgeport, NE 69336.

Phone: 308-262-0812
Fax: 308-262-1644
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ask whether the court can confirm a possible warrant, recall, hearing, payment, or counsel procedure. The official County Court page is the current source to verify details.

Morrill County District Court

District Court handles felony matters, misdemeanors reduced from felonies, appeals from County Court, civil and family contempt, and search-warrant filings. Clerk Susan Kelly’s published address is P.O. Box 824, Bridgeport, NE 69336. The clerk’s page says the office maintains cases in JUSTICE and prepares warrants for judge signature.

Phone: 308-262-1261
Fax: 308-262-1799
Email: susan.kelly@nejudicial.gov
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Use the official District Court page for updates and ask for the case-specific procedure.

Morrill County Sheriff’s Office

The Sheriff’s Office serves, executes, and returns writs and other legal process and has custody duties. The public page lists Sheriff Milo Cardenas, P.O. Box 858, Bridgeport, NE 69336, phone 308-262-0408, fax 308-262-0352, and email mcsheriff1@morrillcountysheriff.com.

The page does not publish a public active-warrant list, current street-facing counter address, warrant-question hours, surrender procedure, or promise of phone status disclosure. Call before traveling. Ask which office handles the court involved, whether any public procedure is available, and what identification or counsel authorization is required.

Use the official Sheriff’s page, not a caller’s number.

Public-Record Requests in Nebraska

For an existing public policy, warrant return, recall entry, or other defined record, identify the relevant custodian and describe the record precisely. Nebraska Rev. Stat. § 84-712 says a custodian should respond as soon as practicable and within four business days provide access, an estimate, or a written denial and legal explanation. The law does not require an office to create a new all-active list.

Ask for reasonably segregable non-exempt portions. Law-enforcement, investigatory, juvenile, sealed, and security material may be limited under § 84-712.05 and other law. The Nebraska Legislature page is the official statute source.

Which Office Should Receive the Question?

  • Traffic, ordinance, or misdemeanor: Morrill County Court.
  • Felony, district criminal, or civil contempt: Morrill County District Court.
  • Serving, executing, returning process, or custody procedure: Morrill County Sheriff.
  • Federal case: District of Nebraska, U.S. Marshals Service, or the appropriate federal clerk.

A public case search can help identify the right route. It cannot replace the official answer.
